Kamado Kie enjoyed thinking of many things she wanted to do in her future. She wanted to visit her various children when they all grew up and left the house to start families of their own. She wanted to hear the pattering of small feet from down the hall and the joyous cries of "Obaa-san!" from her grandchildren.
She wanted to die peacefully, buried next to her husband and watch over her family.
A heart howling for vengeance and a blood-stained axe is not what she saw in her future, but it isn't like she could really help it.
