This is set right before Ren's route in DMMD and a bit after wherever Nu Carnival last stopped because Nu Carnival's main story is not finished yet. Thus, I put both characters in a position before the full ending/canon of their games. So no Ren Route yet for Aoba, and Eiden knows Rei and... Tee hee.
