Summary
This fic is specifically centered around Kim and Kenta's storyline and fills in the gaps in between scenes in the episodes. (I stay as canon-compliant as possible and attempt to keep the pacing on point with where their relationship seemed to be throughout the episodes. There's a little slow burn here, but that's because that's how the drama handled it.)
Each chapter represents an episode and will be named accordingly. (There will be a minimum of 11 chapters, but I have plans for storylines set after episode 13 ends, so it'll definitely be more than that.)

Becoming roommates forces Minsu to see Kenta in ways he didn’t consider before. As Minsu’s foggy memories from the past arrives crushingly back. Bringing his relationship with Kenta to new heights. As they learn each other, Minsu grows a fondness for Kenta that quickly derails to a full-fledged love.
Happiness doesn’t last, as Kenta is kidnapped back underneath Tony’s thumb once more. And this time, Minsu will become Kenta’s number 1, by doing whatever it takes to get him back.

Summary
Six months after the rooftop with Tony, and Kenta's lost. Kim's gone, and he's somehow living in Babe's guest room....and he hasn't spoken to Kim. He's fine, really, he is. Except Charlie wakes up, and now Kenta's shaky foundation is threatening to crack. He needs to make a change...he just doesn't know what it is yet.
In Korea, Kim is stuck. He checks his phone every five seconds and is crushed when it's blank. Will he admit out loud? No. A certain Japanese man is still flooding his thoughts and he needs to do something about it...but he doesn't know what.

Summary
Kim’s helmet bag is heavier than carbon-fibre should be in Kenta’s hand, the fabric strap digging into his palm uncomfortably. It’s weighed down by what it represents: Kim’s choice to get some normality back, to return to racing. To step out of a world of super-powers and human trafficking and guns and blood and bruises and hiding and pain. Kenta understands, he really does. But Kenta doesn’t know who he is without all that. Kim has racing, another identity inside his helmet, a chosen path to return to. Kenta has a blank space, unwritten pages, and restless spectres of memory.
Kim leaves for Seoul. Kenta figures things out.

Kenta falls apart. Then, with help, puts himself back together again, finds a chosen family, realises his capacity for love, and uses his hands to heal instead of hurt.
