Summary
Grace had "made peace" with the fact that he was going to live out the rest of his days on Erid inside a biodome, never seeing or interacting with another human person again. It was a small price to pay for saving the life of his best friend and an entire planet of intelligent life.
Simon had "made peace" with the fact that he was going to die at the bottom of the blood ocean, alone in the dark with no hope of escape. Because not everyone gets to be saved.
Neither of them expected fate to intervene on their behalf.
After being rescued by an Eridian survey team, Simon is trying to find his footing in a place that challenges everything he knows. Meanwhile, Grace wants to solve the mysteries surrounding this handsome stranger sharing his living space. But both of them might find a lot more than they were expecting with one another.
In the end, "making peace" is just something you say.

It's hard to entertain yourself in a place as soul-sucking and mind-numbingly dull as the Theraprism, so it's a real treat for Bill to get to catch Ford compromising himself. Ignore the weird feelings, it's fine.

This story is incredible. It has it all: romance, comedy, adventure, hijinks, bill dealing with human emotions, Fiddleford being an absolute badass, and Ford in his soft and squishy years all wrapped in some of the best extended metaphors and prose I’ve ever seen.

Can’t get enough of this fanfic. The humor is so on par with the original show, smut mixed with emotional moments and character development, Bill learning to conceptualize morality, and little details that just make the whole thing feel very alive. A fun fresh take on the Bill redemption AU.
