Summary
After dying the first time and ending up on a King-Cross-Station-afterlife, Harry finds out he was not only Voldemorts' horcrux, but Dumbledores’ as well, and that the latter intended for him to die to be able to take possession of Harry’s body.
After he kills both trespassing soul shards in him, defeats Voldemort, and tries to move on.
He really tries. But the rest of the world doesn’t, and the remaining prejudices lingering are worse than before the war.Harry has changed, and he needs the world to do so as well. Having discovered just how deep the machinations behind the war, his childhood and Tom Riddle’s- he decides he doesn’t want to be the lamb raised for slaughter, instead, he will be a powerful weapon, one that with the power of the Master of Death will be reborn in the past to wreak havoc.
It is an easy plan. Step one: Train, become a badass weapon, and die to travel back in time Step two: Prevent Dumbledore from ever raising to power, stop Grindelwald’s genocidal plans, befriend young Tom Riddle and prevent him from making horcruxes and becoming insane, and restoring the magical balance between Light and Dark, and-
Okay, maybe it will not be that easy. But Harry will manage just fine.

Summary
While on the hunt for Horcruxes, a chance encounter with Death Eaters ends with Harry being sent back in time to 1942 and de-aged to five years old. The horcrux inside of him leads Headmaster Dippet to the absurd conclusion that Harry must be Tom Riddle’s son from the future. Dippet believes it is best for model student Tom to take care of Harry until they find a way to send him back to his time.
Tom is not happy with this arrangement at first.

Incredible but also so devastating. Idk if I cried so much for how actually horrible it was (in the way all stories worth reading are, those that give you anxiety and don't let you sleep without knowing the end) or if it's seasonal depresso season again- that how devastating this was. The ending was like how going to sleep with your favorite blanket after crying for hours feels. Do not read if mentally unwell.
