What life was like for Reggie, Luke, and Alex before they died (no bobby). Life wasn't much better if better at all than death was. Truth is they all kind of wanted to die and harmed themselves in their own ways. But one night one of the boys' home life gets so bad they try to end it. But two kind fire fighters stop him and save him and his friends.
Super random crossover but I'm obsessed with both shows. But if you want you can read the 9-1-1 part as if they were OC's

Summary
Tom Kazansky has always been hard to read. That doesn’t really matter though; not many people are interested in reading him. They know what they’ll get. He’s collected, he’s disciplined, he follows orders—it’s like he was raised in the army.
Of course, that’s what having a father who’s an admiral will do to you.
Tom Kazansky is also reserved, seems terrified of bringing shame to his family name and for some reason always changes the subject when family comes up.
Of course, that’s what having a father who used to beat you senseless will do to you.
AKA Ice has an abusive father that him and his sister are just trying to survive. When he suffers an injury during his time at Top Gun old people show up in his life again, opening up old wounds.
