GREAT characterization of pre-canon Odile.
One of my favorites, really feels like THE headcanon for Odile's motivations, how she connects with the party, and how she sees herself. Well structured and answered all the relevant questions. Odile didn't get what she wanted, but she got what she Needed.

Wholesome story, Voice instead of Loop, no loops, everyone agreed to stay together after the King, Siffrin quickly gains new skills in the House, and Voice's "No one but you" comment is the funniest strategy I've ever heard.

Summary
Life has never been kind to Siffrin.
It takes, and it takes, and it takes, and they thought they'd made their peace with that. When he's offered a job on a ranch just outside of Jouvente, though, it feels like things might actually be looking up.
It's almost too good to be true. They're offering him somewhere to live! A roof that doesn't leak! Functioning utilities, a kitchen, a real bed! It's everything they've ever wanted, ever needed, and all they have to do is take care of some animals!
But life has never been kind to Siffrin, and there's always a catch.
