Summary
Whatever carefully blank expression Lestat is trying on disappears like a slap. “Armand made a fledgling. Why would he do that?” Lestat asks.
“Oh, you know,” Louis says, watching the three dots of a new text pop up. “He knew Daniel was… important to me.”
He means to say it with rueful annoyance, as if to say, “so he ruined him.” But as Daniel’s text comes in—the most important question I should have asked you in that fucking interview: where do you buy coke in Dubai?—Louis’s voice trails off, his words maybe lacking some of the bite.
or
Lestat misunderstands what Daniel is to Louis and tries to be a champ about it. Meanwhile Louis rediscovers his drug of choice—Lestat.

Summary
"'This, too, you must destroy?' I asked, gripping Lestat's wrist and halting him from tearing the ragged fabric of my breeches which would no doubt give easily under the efforts of a mortal let alone a powerful vampire such as Lestat.
"'Is there a prize for denying yourself, mon cher? Is celibacy the key to the fictional kingdom you've propped your festering existence upon?'
"I gasped, rendered defenseless. The fabric ripping open with one fluid tear. He smiled at me, then, and for a moment I thought that he was the devil I'd sworn to serve. He tore at my coat, my shirt, until I was bare from the waist up, the cold damp stones at my back chilling through me and making the heat of him and his recently fed and ruddy skin feel like burning coals hovering near. I had not known this sin for centuries. A welcome respite, at once, but now I was aflame with desire to be touched again. To be touched by him.
"'I haven't the strength to fight you...'
"'Lies.'"OR, Lestat and Armand's recounting of certain events to Daniel do not line up. Obviously, everyone's gotta fuck about it.

Bookmarker's Notes
I spent the better part of six hours looking for this fic, just to reread the part where Louis kicks the door down to yell at everyone.

Summary
He wastes himself on drugs, as if being alive is such an arduous road. He would huff paint if it was the only thing around. I worry for him so terribly. Daniel? He doesn't know how blessed he is, to have a long life ahead of him. He's getting skinny. I must feed him. Oh, he's not replying to my calls, Daniel? Daniel? Daniel, please, I want to get you Chinese takeout. Ah, he heard that. Yes, I will be on my way to the motel now. He knows I'd get him somewhere nicer, I don’t know why he insists on the filthiest places.
You eat with him?
Five times Lestat hears Armand thinking of Daniel (and one time he hears Daniel think of Armand).
