Summary
Galinda Upland (of the Upper Uplands) is having a disastrous start to her first year at Shiz University. There's nothing wrong with liking things exactly the way she likes them, but nothing is going according to plan. Not only is she forced to share a dorm with a green freak like Elphaba Thropp, but she's also been unceremoniously dumped by Fiyero, who is looking for someone more "serious"... like Elphaba.
