With the feeling of being real, he became conscious of his body. Of all the sensations his nerve endings were screaming at him about, fighting to get their message through the haziness fogging up Sammie's mind.
The scratch of rough cotton against his cheek as his body sank into a too soft mattress.

The sting of his other cheek as slashed flesh was still knitting itself together.
His parched throat hurting at every dry swallow he took.
The deep ache of his empty stomach.
An arm thrown over his side, wrapped around him, its hand following the curve of Sammie's pectorals before sliding down his sternum and further, until it pressed down over his stomach, calling attention to an impossible, stiff fullness lodged deep inside of Sammie.

"Don't," he heard Mary whisper to Sammie, so low that a normal human wouldn't have been able to pick the words out in the distance. "He's... They all are weird. You better don't get close to them."
Eyes wide open, Sammie looked at Remmick. Back at the barn. At Mary. Back at Remmick again. Hesitated.
Then, having come to a decision, he squared his shoulder, drew himself up.
"He is," he answered Mary with a quick, sharp nod. "I still gotta talk to him." He threw another glance back at the barn, clearly drawn back towards the light, the music. The safety of being inside, even if he could know that only subconsciously.

Sammie got his knees underneath him, still half submerged in the water, and turned around to look up at Remmick with wide, dark eyes. Dizzy and disoriented and with nowhere left to run. Blood dripped down the side of his face from the gashes Remmick's careless swipe had left. Its rich, sweet scent permeated the air around them, a delicacy waiting to be tasted, to be enjoyed. To be devoured.

Summary
Pitch Black Hen Waron does not make it easy for the other knights to trust her. Cerulian Qilin Zius starts to trust her anyhow, even if it's a slow progress. It'd be easier if only she didn't invade his personal space so often (though, if Zius had no other option left but honesty, he doesn't actually mind that much). The reappearance of a certain one-night stand of his forcing him to admit to himself that yes, he does like the danger she poses, is not helping matters either, though.
A retelling of Waron's and Zius' interactions up until chapter 136, with some added flavour.

Summary
This kind of could be compared to a cat falling asleep on top of you. You simply don't move until it gets off on its own. Though, considering Hen's volatile nature, maybe this was more of a case of letting sleeping dogs lie. Zius wasn't quite sure which described this particular situation more aptly.

There were many titles belonging to the man called Yoo Joonghyuk, as well as many rumors, most of which sounded so over the top that it made them enter the realm of legends. Defeating more than twenty men barehanded, unparalleled in fights as if he knows the opponent’s next move, coming back even though he was thought to be dead—on more than one occasion—and making those who betrayed him wish they didn’t.
Sure, Kim Dokja didn’t doubt that there was some truth to those words. If he would’ve believed otherwise, there would be no need to bother meeting Yoo Joonghyuk in the first place. But what Kim Dokja was curious about was just how exaggerated the rumors were, since not only the man was said to be the strongest in fights, but apparently his looks didn’t fall behind either, not to mention that his secondary gender being dominant alpha with wolf genes. It was only natural for an avid reader like Kim Dokja to be interested in such a seemingly flawless person who resembled a novel protagonist more than anyone else.
