“Hi, I'm Jesse! I’m new!”
“How new?”
The recruit's smile faltered. “Er… very new. It’s my first solo flight,” she admitted. “But I’ve been trained with all the simulators and I’m fully certified by the Interplanetary Board of Astronautics. So I won’t cause any problems!”
“Hm.” He squinted at her (metaphorically. He doesn’t have eyes). “We’ll see.”
They did, indeed, see.

Melinoe trusted the future of their family to Zagreus. All he had to do was slay the Titan, and it would have all been over - but he didn't. Her brother offered mercy to the Titan of Time hoping for a better solution, but the future refused to change in the way he hoped.
Chronos' fate was changed in a different way, allowing Melinoë to rescue her family - but the Titan of Time is not gone, nor has he given up. Although they are now finally reunited with one another, Melinoë and her family are far from the peaceful days they deserve. Melinoë must once again find the titan, and figure out a way to complete The Task - but now, she has her family to help her. And if she can forgive her brother, she may be closer to finishing her Task than she thought.
