"It's hard to say," Itachi replies, his tone slightly teasing. "But judging by your current attire, I'd imagine they involve more than just a late-night conversation."
You meet his gaze, feeling a flutter of warmth. "Are you suggesting something?"
"No," he says almost disinterestedly, immediately squashing the feeling building in you. You feel yourself flush once more, this time out of embarrassment for reading into the moment when he continues.
It's soft and light and if you weren't so attuned to him, you think you would have missed it.
