It’s February, and Puzo’s Petals is gearing up for their busiest time of the year: Valentine’s Day. Yet despite the surge in demand (and the surge in profit), Vittorio can’t help feeling strangely . . . empty. Churning out bouquet after generic bouquet, Vitto is as uninspired as the overpriced rose centerpieces he can’t seem to keep in stock. At this point, he’s been in this creative slump for so long he doesn’t even remember what it even feels like to be inspired in the first place.
That is, until he pays a visit to Gotham Auto next door.

Summary
Elizabeth Colvin, intrepid reporter-wannabe, was called home a year ago after her sister, Katrina, went missing. She returned to New York City to find out what happened and seek revenge on the man who killed her, Mafia boss Francesco Juliano. While going undercover in The Sparrow Room, she meets rival boss Vittorio Puzo, who wants to join her in her mission. It's dangerous to play with an evil man's heart, and the consequences of mistakes are life and death.

In 1933, Elizabeth Colvin never could have imagined that moving to the big city of New York from her family farm to pursue a career in journalism would land her in the middle of two rival mafia families, but when one boss ends up trafficking children, she can't just do nothing, especially when she learns that she'd nearly been one of them.
(Note: This isn’t a smut story, nor is it one where sex is withheld until the end. Vittorio would be a supreme asshole if he and Elizabeth were to hook up at the end after everything that will happen. If you want something with tons of sex, or something where sex is withheld until the end, then this isn’t the story for you. Sex is where it is for very deliberate, specific, planned-out reasons.)
(Warning: This story does contain sensitive material including dubious consent, mafia violence, and themes of abuse, though the game itself goes farther than I could make myself write. However, it is not gratuitous, and anything involving children is never described or shown, and it is not there just for shock value. It's deeply relevant to the story. Everything I write into a story is very deliberate and serves a purpose to the overall narrative. If it doesn't, I nix it.)
