Summary
Choi Seungcheol is a feared mafia boss in Seoul—a man whose name alone makes people tremble. Powerful, ruthless, and accustomed to getting whatever he wants, he never expected a simple visit to a small café to change his life.
There, he meets Yoon Jeonghan, a beautiful café owner with delicate features, a sharp tongue, and a heart guarded by painful experiences. Jeonghan wants nothing to do with dangerous men, especially someone as intimidating and persistent as Seungcheol.
But Seungcheol becomes captivated by him.
From sending flowers every day and staring at Jeonghan across the café to awkwardly attempting to bake pastries, the feared mafia boss slowly reveals a softer, almost boyish side that no one else has ever seen. Jeonghan tries to resist his attention, but Seungcheol's unexpected kindness, patience, and growing affection gradually begin to break through his defenses.
As their relationship develops through playful banter, accidental dates, jealousy, and quiet moments of tenderness, Jeonghan begins to realize that he looks forward to Seungcheol's presence more than he wants to admit.
