“Oh, you saw Kuina.” Luffy says, when Sanji recounts what he just experienced. Luffy found him frozen at the bottom of the stairs and had enough tact to ask what was wrong before asking for lunch. “She’s Zoro’s soulmate.”
“Are you meant to see other people's soulmates?” Sanji asks, still hyperventilating a little bit, “I thought that was a one-on-one kind of experience.”
“If you’re really really close with some people, it happens,” Nami says, from where she’s shamelessly eavesdropping. Sanji feels his heart warmed—she noticed him freezing up and cared enough about him to listen in. Women have such naturally kind and empathetic souls. “It’s something about souls intertwining? I don’t really know the science of it all.”
(You're haunted by your soulmate when they die. Somehow, this doesn't change anything.)

Summary
The Jikan Jikan no Mi was a fruit capable not of pushing someone through time, but of pushing time through a person. A person's future self is brought to the present and, afterwards, time snaps back to bring their younger self forward. When Luffy collapses at Marineford, its holder comes forward and offers to use her powers rather than let him have a second hormone injection from Iva. The power is not without its risks, but Luffy does not hesitate to accept. If he had a chance to be stronger—or to bring a stronger him in his place, even temporarily—then he would take it.
He would do anything to save Ace.

Luffy closes his eyes on the Sunny as they sail away from Wano, and he opens them on the battlefield of Marineford.

The pair of ten year olds stayed like that for a while, nudging each other, giggling as they figured out how to pass a bit of fire back and forth between their hands without it disappearing. All they needed was Luffy sprawled across their legs, and it would be perfect - the best Sabo could remember feeling since before everything went wrong back home.
It didn’t last, of course.

So what if he’d kept on shouting all through the abduction, through getting dragged aboard the warship and tossed into their brig, and periodically enough afterward to make a bunch of different guards tell him to shut up? If a single twelve year old could get on their nerves that much, then clearly they were worthless losers.
But more than not being able to holler insults at their captors, Ace hated that he couldn’t say a word to comfort Luffy.

Stelly is awful, but her parents dote on him regardless. Dote on him even more than they do Sachie,
than they used to with Sabo. After all, the King of Goa only has two daughters, the elder of whom will one day be Queen, and that makes sons of a certain age all the more valuable to noble families at the moment. The highest station that Sachie could hope to marry is a boy a few years older than herself, a cousin-once-removed of the King, whom she distinctly remembers getting into an awful fight with Sabo once. She also distinctly remembers her mother fretting over the higher-ranked boy, and trying to get Sachie to do so as well, while Sabo stood there scuffed and bleeding with his head hanging low.Privately, only in the safety of her own mind, Sachie thinks she would rather leave Goa entirely than marry such a boy. And she also, in those moments, understands completely why Sabo chose to run away, rather than participate in the stupid competition to marry a princess.
(That doesn’t make her miss him any less.)

“I know damn well you’re a strong swimmer, so what the hell are you still doing here, Eggplant?”
The brat twitches, but just bites his lip and doesn’t answer. Maybe can’t, considering he’s back to a pair of legs instead of his tail, all those flashy yellow scales replaced by a white kitchen uniform. Zeff doesn’t pretend to know how any kind of magic works, be it human or mer or Devil Fruit in origin.
What he does know is how stomachs work, and his started rumbling a while ago. At least a few crates washed up at the base of the sea stack during the night, so Zeff eyes the kid one more time and then clambers down to go take a look for any usable supplies.
Maybe half an hour later, he both is and isn’t surprised by a flicker of scales in the water, followed by a still-sealed jar bobbing to the surface.

“No one let us in,” Zoro complains. He’s still on the floor, wrapped up in- something, Kuina can’t quite tell with her vision only slowly coming back into focus. “There was a ladder hanging off the side that we climbed up, and the doors opened on their own!”
“...huh,” the first voice says. Blinking rapidly, Kuina can make out a top hat, and blue coat, and both her and Zoro’s swords tucked under one arm. Annoyed by that, she kicks free of her sheets and slides off the bed, opposite where Zoro is still struggling with his giggling assailant.
“We didn’t mean to intrude,” the girl announces, borrowing every ounce of stiff patience she’s ever seen her father wield. “If the storm is over, we’ll get back in our boat and leave.”
That top hat tips to one side as its owner regards her. “What boat?”
A few minutes later, Kuina finds herself staring dumbly over the ship’s railing at empty water.

But here he is, crouched in a corner of the main hold of this crummy little ship, swords sheathed and hands held palm-out as he tries to calm down the merman thoroughly secured to the far wall.

When Shanks and his crew first arrive at the quiet little fishing village where Vice Admiral Garp is rumored to spend his vacation time, there’s a kid on the dock who waves so enthusiastically at their incoming ship that he slips off the damp boards and topples into the water. Instantly, two smaller kids (who definitely weren’t waving) yelp and jump after him, grabbing the flailing kid’s arms in an effort to drag him towards dry land.
It’s funny, but not so funny Shanks doesn’t feel kinda bad, so he leaps down to help.
Which is how he meets nine year old Monkey D. Luffy, and his adopted six year old brothers, Ace and Sabo.

He hadn't realized she was making a scarf. Maybe because the lumpy, misshapen thing in Lumine’s hands does not look like a scarf. In fact, it doesn’t look like much of anything.
Lumine makes Scaramouche a scarf—and he realizes that she may be brilliant, beautiful, and a hero in multiple nations, but she is absolutely horrible at knitting.
