Summary
Nine o’clock comes, and true to her word, Lute is outside of the towering golden doors that lead into Adam’s personal penthouse. She’s dressed in her usual attire, albeit a little more put-together and not covered in sweat, blood, and whatever else came with a long day’s worth of training and sparring. However, the mask has been discarded in lieu of this evening’s activities. Despite how much she loves rocking the fearsome look, Adam prefers her without it for their weekly meetup. It struck Lute as strange when he requested it originally, mainly because Adam preferred to keep his mask on while Lute’s face remained bare. Shame. That’s the only thing she could imagine as his reasoning. Adam rarely removed his mask for anyone, but especially in moments where he felt vulnerable.
Call her twisted, but she finds his humiliation kind of cute.
