The look that crossed her face would’ve been comical if he wasn’t feeling oddly vulnerable, which was—stupid, really. He’d had plenty of sex. This wasn’t all that different.
“You said—” Courtney sat back a little, though she kept her hands on his thighs. “You said you’d been with men before.”
Robert gave a small smile. “I did, and I have,” which was the truth, “but I was never on the receiving end.”
