Violet Wick had always enjoyed night walks but they had become an escape for her over time. She didn’t fit the cookie cutter expectations of a woman in the UK. With all the media and Thatcher being a complete tosser, being a half Irish, half English butch omega in 1985 was not great.
She was the very antithesis of what society would call a “good omega” by every standard. How she dressed, how she wore her hair, especially with who she sleeps with. It doesn’t matter alpha, beta, omega, as long as the were female Vi would be down. Even her job is the very antithesis of what the so called normal female omega is like.

Summary
Occasionally as Caitlyn got closer to the square she would see humans in what amounted to rags sleeping on whatever they could find. With some of them she didn’t even know if they were asleep or dead. Rats would be a good word to describe them in Caitlyn's head. Dirty little animals sleeping in the filth that crawled out of holes to work and die. However the nation needed them, so Caitlyn had no choice but to see them scurrying around.
Slowing her horse to a trot she entered the city square seeing the charred remains still chained to a metal pole, a pile of ash beneath it. The whole thing was a much more ghastly scene than what she had expected. The former governor's family lay nearby all having been stabbed in the heart with a stake, their bodies unceremoniously dumped into a disrespectful pile. The stench of stale blood filled the air, causing Caitlyn to cover her nose in disgust.Warning: Dark Fic, you have been warned and will be warned more.

Summary
Swallowing the lump in your throat, you slip your right hand fully off her knee and under the hem of her dress. When you look up, for permission, she just huffs impatiently and grips harder at the back of your neck. It is as close to encouraging as you will probably ever get from her.
“Thank you,” you find yourself murmuring which is just... stupid. You know she can hear you, but she either doesn’t care enough to make fun of you or she actually thinks this is something she should be thanked for and has taken it in stride. Either option seems plausible.
