Summary
Humans have animal characteristics that determine their life. They effect and influence everything, including what quirk they gain, and how strong they are.
Tomura is part moth, but more animal than the average person. As such, AFO takes an immediate interest in his potential. He takes him and influences the way his moth side develops, until Kurogiri could no longer take what he was a part of, so runs away with the young boy. In an effort to keep Tomura away from AFO's clutches, he hides him in a dangerous forest with the reassurance that an ally will collect Tomura and protect him, then leads AFO and his goons away. However, they never show.
Thus, Tomura is left to grow in the wild, and learns how to protect himself. He grows feral and strong, coming into his own under the influence of a being that is unknown. He thought he had everything, that he was content, until one day a dragon with severe burns and a sharp mouth stumbles across him, and shows him the things he had not even realised he was missing.
Love was certainly not something they were expecting to grab them.
However, AFO is still after Tomura, and he wants to continue with his pet project.
