Summary
“Oh, and I’m sure you know how much I hate your hands. A personal favourite, actually.”
Sherlock blinks. He’s used to replacing love with hate, sure, but other things — not so much. He guesses he got too careless; but oh well, they’re already talking about it, and Mycroft clearly saw through his wordplay months ago, so that’s not exactly a revelation.
Honesty has never been Sherlock’s thing. Telling the truth through a lie though is a completely different story.
Or; Sherlock replaces the word love with the word hate every time he admits something he probably shouldn't to Mycroft. The elder sees right through him.
I hate you has never been so hard to say.

Summary
He did it by accident and he would swear to that to his death. Enraptured by Sherlock's helpless squirming as he tried both to get closer to and flee the overwhelming sensations racking his body, James lifted his hand from his chest to place on his hip, intending only to hold him still. His fingers half curled, brushing a stiff nipple and sending a jolt through Sherlock, his hips bucking sharply against James's thrust in. But he didn’t lift his hand any further, and as he stared fixated at Sherlock's sweet face his knuckles collided directly with the bloodstained bandage on his abdomen.
The second time, of course, he did it on purpose.
(James sticks his fingers in Sherlock's bullet wound. there's other stuff, but that's the important bit.)

Summary
Sherlock glances at himself, the other self, bloody-nosed and still standing against the wall, looking at James like —
"I was there. I don't need to study what I did."
"Don't you?" James says, and Sherlock glares at him. This false James steps away, out of sight, ghosting around behind him until he can murmur in Sherlock's other ear: "What is it that you want, Sherlock?"

Summary
He didn't know why he gave in so easily then. He was young, naive about the world and the supposed laws of nature. Maybe it was the same reason he gave in now- the bone deep hunger to care for the younger boy who no one aside from himself seemed capable of managing; the need to feel one with the only other soul who truly understood him.
