Following the sex update’s implementation, everything seems to have gone through with no issue. Or at the very least, Caine hasn’t received any complaints. However, he does have one of his own—namely, a persistent new limb who refuses to leave, and the sensations that its existence entails.

Summary
Caine's been spending a lot of time off on his own lately, usually somewhere high above the circus. Pomni's been keeping an eye on him, and notices he's quieter than usual, even when they're all off on adventures together. After spending some time with Jax one evening, she spots him in the middle of one of his 'contemplation sessions', particularly in a place she can actually get to. So, like any good 'friend' would do, she goes to check on him.

The world has become destabilized, leaving the players in an empty, disjointed purgatory. The circus is breaking down, becoming increasingly corrupted without the AI to manage it. If something doesn't get done, it's all over, but no one knows what to do.
Pomni thinks she can feel Caine out there somewhere—alone, confused, distressed. Kinger says it may be possible to save him, to save them all—but to do so, one must enter the code, and somehow, against all odds, make their way back out. Pomni will have to go alone, and see a side of Caine that he never wanted anyone to see. But can she get through to him, and does he even want to be found?
And if she does manage to bring him back, how do they keep this from happening again? As the line between self and other starts to blur, will the bridge of understanding ever be built?

I'm very committed to this story, I won't leave it hanging. This Fan-fic focuses mainly on Caine and Pomni. (Yes there will be spicy stuff later on)
