He was not going to be mocked by some officer, no matter how high his rank may be.

On one of the many occasions a trade deal (read: shady and risky business) gets way out of hand, they find themselves prisoners of a mysterious alien military force, with an even more mysterious Commander at its head.
A Commander who, for all intents and purposes, just likes to cause problems on purpose.
