Summary
It's five minutes into the Secret Santa exchange, and Eddie is panicking.
He's not panicking because the envelope containing his love letter is currently in Buck's hands, folded edges falling victim to the prodding of Buck's restless fingers. No, he actually feels good about the letter.
What he does not feel good about is the fact that he missed a memo. A very important memo. A very important memo that would have entirely changed his approach to the letter-writing portion of this gift exchange. Because if Eddie had known that everyone was going to read the notes they received out loud, for the entire group to hear, then he might have left the love confession out.
or
It’s scary enough for Eddie to write a love letter for Buck. The threat of a public reading of the letter doesn’t make it any better.
