She would absolutely not be telling any of the other members of the clergy that fact. She would much rather hear them pestering her about being more pious and having better manners than listen to them cooing over her and her newfound love of Barbatos. She was not invested in any of the goings-on of the church for any reason related to Archons or their supposed ways of helping citizens. If an Archon was going to come down and help Mondstadt, they surely would’ve done it by now. Thankfully, her coat was damp—not soaked by the gentle kisses of the sky above them. It was enough to darken the hem but not enough to dispose of the floral scent that followed it…

“You smell like work,” Chiori added rather bluntly.
Emilie greeted the remark with a kind smile, the expression more so habit rather than genuine. “I hope you don’t mind.”
Chiori allowed herself a slight hum, not directly answering the question, though she made no movement to kick the forensic cleaner out.
