Summary
Deadpool finds out about the Daily Bugle’s smear campaign against Spider-Man. He corners one Peter B. Parker, a notorious paparazzi, to set him straight about Spidey. Peter must put in a good word for him, because Spidey’s icy heart thaws a little. Hence, it’s natural that Deadpool continues to seek Peter’s advice about the arachnid hero.

“I don’t understand,” he says, and his arms are wrapped around himself now, as if he is cold. They are in Hebra, yes, but he can’t help but feel as if the cold has nothing to do with how he is beginning to shiver.
“What do you mean you don’t understand?” Revali demands, turning back to him, his glare even deeper on his face than before. “I’ve expressed myself clearly to you many times before - it is no fault of mine that you see yourself as better than I simply because of the sword on your back. “I-I don’t understand,” Link repeats, because for once, he truly doesn’t know how it was that he didn’t please this individual. He thought he understood, before, but Revali has grown more and more upset, and Link simply does not understand what he has done wrong to cause this.
He wants to fix this.
It is the first time in his life he can ever truly remember wanting something.
It is as his vision begins to blur (he doesn't know why) that Revali’s expression shifts.

Wade’s an observant guy. He knows that something fishy went down a ways back near the Statue of Liberty, and that something fishy happened as a result. But once they fixed up the Statue of Liberty, everyone moved on from it the way they move on from every freaky thing that happens, so learning much more than that has been harder than finding Blind Al’s hidden stash of cocaine. And Wade is also a busy guy, so unless he has some reason to care, he’s gonna make like his old man and fuck off about it.
This, though, might be a reason to care.

Summary
Lucy remembered being young, a little girl. Her vault suit covered in dirt and the heels of her hands scrapped, bleeding. It seemed like the worst that could ever happen to anyone, like her entire existence had been turned on its axis, like the end of the world to a child. Then, her mother standing in front of her, gentle hands cleaning the wounds, whispering soft, comforting words.
"Ten fingers, ten toes," in a sing-along tone that always made Lucy smile. "And I'd love you even if you had none."
Now, as she stared at the test results, with her entire existence truly turned on its axis and nobody there to lift her off the ground, she missed her mother more than ever.
