Loba may have been stuck with the Demon now, but it didn’t mean she had to be stuck with her disadvantage when dealing with him. This is what led her to the old halls of Hammond, desperate for information about him that she could use in her favor.

Spying the demon, Loba watched as Revenant leapt over to an enemy he had just killed, new face catching the moonlight as he looted and he slid into the shadows. Following the glow of his eyes, she trained her reticle right at his head as he used a phoenix kit. It would be so easy to shoot him right then and there. He would never see it coming.
He may not have been there a year ago… but she was there now.
It didn't matter if it was a year later. It didn't matter if he had a new face or body. World's Edge. King's Canyon. Olympus. Wherever they were, whatever it was he looked like, none of it would change anything.

A shadow loomed above her in the dark. In the dim light radiating from the streetlamps below, all she could make out was a pale skull-like face before it leapt at her in a blur. Falling back against the boarded-up door with a clamor, Loba found herself looking up at the figure of none other than the demon. He reached an arm to lean on the doorframe, closing in while giving her no more than an intoned leer. Nostrils flaring, the thief warded off the relief that came with the certainty of his presence.Andrade drew herself up, locking a cold honey gaze onto his dead stare. Crossing an arm over her chest, she brought the cigarette back up to her lips and took a bold drag. The ember illuminated their faces in the rain as they looked on each other in near complete silence, the distant bass line from the club just barely reaching them.

“It’s good for keeping out negative energies.” She offered, as if to explain her laughter.
“Then it doesn’t work.” He replied snidely. He held the jasper up to the light, considering its hardness and how much it might hurt someone if it was pelted at their head. She met him with a considering hum and a shrug, looking back to the cards that she was shuffling on the table before her.
“Bet it’d work a lot better if you just shot it at someone’s head.” He offered darkly.
“Of course.” Smith shrugged matter-of-factly, smirking at him, “How else did you think these things worked?” -

Loba was pissed.
This was an unfortunately common occurrence. If it wasn’t because of a bad match, or a fight with a lover, it was because of Revenant. That blasted demon was more often the focus of her ire than not, and tonight was no different. After a particularly arduous match wherein Kairi bore witness to an unfortunately intimate moment between her and the demon, she had realized her fan was missing.

Just before Imahara’s battery could replenish her shields, the all too familiar skittering of metal jut into the room beside her. Eyeing him pass her position tucked behind the door, Revenant stopped just after it in interest, intoning a malicious grin from his crouch. With a grimace, Valkyrie dropped the batt and raised her Prowler up to the sim’s head. He lurched aside, shoving her aim off kilter.
“I know you’re here, birdie.” Whipping around to face her directly, glowing pupils sank into her. Just as she anticipated his raising the R-301 he had in hand, he jerked away. “You’re just gonna love this--” Before another moment could pass, he stepped away from the pilot’s hiding spot, backing into the middle of the room. He scoffed just as the set of doors at the opposite end of the structure flung open.
“--Don’t you dare wander away from me while I’m speaking to you, demonio!” Loba’s agitated voice preceded the sound of her heels as she entered the room.

When Andrade stomped up and ripped it clear out of his hands, that same smirk of his faded into an expression of genuine surprise. Possessively sinking her teeth into it, she took a proud puff. Blowing it out to the side, she held it in hand and gestured broadly over the bed.
“I’m not wearing any of this.” Loba shot at him with a proud tilt of her chin.
The Greatest Hitman in All the Outlands blinked at her from his seat, before grinning.
“Hey, if you want to be the one to walk out in that, I won’t stop you.”
His eyes wandered her form again, bringing Loba’s attention back to the fact that she was still only wearing his bathrobe, barely covering her after yet another fight. -
