Summary
With a jolt- a terrible, gasping noise- Cas wakes as if forced into this world all over again. Dean only has a second to take in the pale of his skin and watch the way Cas’s bottom lip trembles before Cas has both hands braced against Dean’s chest and pushes with a force that knocks the wind out of him.
The Oof! that blooms out of Dean’s throat seems to snap Cas out of whatever state of terror he was still in because he blinks as if to clear a fog from his eyes before a different sort of awful expression crosses his face.
“Dean, I- I’m so sorry-”
“Hey, man,” Dean says. He’s trying his best to keep his voice soothing, but there’s a strange tremor in his fingers still. “Hey, it’s okay, it’s alright. Been there, done that. Just glad you didn’t have a gun under your pillow.”

Summary
If there was one thing Shane knew in this moment, it was that he was so fucked.
This fic is going to stick mostly to the cannon of the books and show, but there will be some added moments and other fun little things like that. Also I'm going to try and include a song for each chapter. Idk how often I will be updating, but I hope you enjoy. The majority of this fic will consist of scenes that jump around, adding to and expanding on things we see in the show, while also filling in details we don't. However, I have my own twist on things.

Shane Hollander is just trying to survive—NYU biochemistry, hockey practice, and the graveyard shift at a Manhattan 7-Eleven. He's too tired to notice that his new regular customer is clearly Russian mafia, or that Ilya's interest in him goes beyond terrible coffee.
When Ilya gives him a $10k scarf and gloves, Shane sells them for rent money. Any normal person would be terrified. Ilya is fascinated.
