Grabbing the resident heartthrob visiting army doctor by his stupidly handsome face and kissing him until both of them were oxygen deprived had been a deliberate act. Making sure they’d been in a rooftop security camera blindspot before she’d unbuckled both their pants had been deliberate too. Letting him -no- eagerly encouraging him to fuck her until she forgot all about what she’d been stressed about had been very deliberate.

Turns out; things DO actually happen at Headquarters.

Summary
There's a lot going on in the main plot-line. Orlais and Fereldan are circling the Inquisiton like wolves, Qunari have been found in the Winter Palace, and the Inquisitor must find---yeah, yeah. Varric couldn't give a shit if he tried.
Here's the real conflict: Trevelyan broke Cassandra's heart.
Now, the Inquisitor will be lucky if that glowing hand of his kills him before Varric gets the chance. Helping Cassandra move on is a team effort and everyone wants to assist. Of course, the best way to fix a bad romantic ending is to write a brand-new one---and the pen, as always, is in Varric's hand.

Summary
Elphaba has become all too familiar with exclamations of surprise and horror being thrown her way in lieu of a greeting when she encounters someone new.
Always, without fail, the first remark is about the color of her skin. Something along the lines of Dear Oz, why are you green?, with only slight variations. The second comment, because it is never so much a question as it is an expression of disgust no one even bothers to try to mask, is And what in the name of Oz is that?
Which, frankly, Elphaba finds quite stupid. Grym may be peculiar looking, though in her opinion not so much as to warrant such an overreaction, but he is, very clearly, a bat.

Varric Tethras, Viscount of Kirkwall, has a pretty good handle on the whole running-a-city-state thing until Cassandra shows up. He'd be exasperated as hell except that she keeps dragging him along. Hey, it gets him out of the office. Things are tense up North, especially with Starkhaven slobbering over Kirkwall like a gurgut over a wounded bogfisher. Then, Nevarra needs an ally in the Free Marches and Cassandra is her country's best hope. Now, the holier-than-thou, self-important, Choir Boy who invaded Kirkwall is out to marry Cassandra. He's tall and human and Chantry-loving and Varric's got a nug's chance at supper, but who gives a shit?
If Sebastian wants his city or his Seeker, he'll have to step over Varric's grave.
