Summary
In some ways, A/B/O stories are subversive, disrupting consensus social reality’s gender paradigms by exploring trans sexual desire, cis sexual desire that subverts patriarchal expectation, queer desire, non-gender-conforming desire, and extremely gender-conforming desire, often all in the same sexual act. In other ways, some stories' obsessive focus on the act of penetration in service of procreation reify patriarchal ideologies by inscribing them into not only social but biological reality. In A/B/O couples, the alpha is biologically determined to penetrate, and the omega biologically determined to be penetrated; their subsequent social behaviors, respectively dominant and submissive, are thus also biologically encoded. What do we do with that???

Summary
Once upon a time, Gusu was a thriving town full of thriving local businesses. But driving the Wen family out took its toll, and the town and its people had never quite recovered. The Lan family, who had run the Cloud Recesses music school for generations, don't quite know how to feel, then, when a distant, disowned cousin of the Jin family, Mo Xuanyu, creates a trust in their honor. The trust comes with a few unexpected stipulations, though. First, it requires they open a cafe attached to their school, to help rebuild a sense of community in Gusu. Second, it requires that after six months, the cafe's ownership and execution of the trust be handed over to one Wei Wuxian, who no one in town has heard from in more than a decade, and most would prefer to imagine is dead.

Cas is the owner of Four Seasons Total Landscaping, and he received a very curious call on a quiet Saturday morning. Dean owns the adult shop next door, and is very confused by what's going on. Good times are had by all, except Donald Trump because fuck that morally-bankrupt tangerine.
