Summary
On the morning of Sam's wedding, George starts to notice something off about Dream, but he can't seem to put his finger on it. Dream's touch makes his skin crawl and his formerly perfect smile doesn't sit quite right. It doesn't help that his intrusive thoughts are consuming his every waking moment and old feelings are flaring up again. Everything is converging to lead him down a dark path this Halloween, and George isn't sure if he can escape it.

“What are you doing down there?” George’s head snaps up to find Dream hanging lazily in the air. “Are you the world’s first mud-talent, or something?”
“No,” George growls, standing up. He glances down at his clothes, now dripping with mud after his many failed attempts. “I’m practicing how to make ripples, if you must know.”
Dream flips upside down, his smile growing even larger. “You’re not very good at it.”George arrives at Pixie Hollow as a brand new fairy, disoriented and alone. He debuts as a water-talent fairy, and yet his heart yearns for the wind against his wings. However, George soon finds out that he is not exactly a natural at flying, or anything really. Regardless of how much the gifted fast-flying-talent Dream teases him, he can't get enough. Of flying...or of Dream.

“I’m bored,” Dream whined.
“But I want you here. And I don’t want to do anything besides lay in bed with you,” George said. “Dream, please.”
“Why are you so lazy?” Dream scoffed. “It’s not like you’re in heat. You don’t need to stay in bed all day. C’mon, let’s go do something.”
“Your alpha charm is putting me in heat, actually,” George said. He mock-fanned at his face, as if trying to cool himself down. “Sorry, I can’t do anything today.”
“No way could I send you into heat,” Dream laughed.
“You definitely could,” George argued. “I’ve heard if the alpha tries to set the mood, sometimes it can happen.”George bets that Dream could send him into heat. Doubtful, but too competitive to say no, Dream accepts the challenge, and learns a few things about his best friend on the way.

As his vision dimmed and the world tilted, he felt Dream press a kiss to the top of his head.
“I’m gonna kill you, over and over,” Dream said. “Sweet dreams, George. I’ll see you again when you wake up.”

At twenty-eight, George finally decides to get his driver’s license. It’s something he’s put off for years—too anxious, too distracted, too tangled in other things that felt more urgent than learning how to parallel park. But when he finally books a lesson, his new instructor, Dream, turns out to be calm in all the ways George isn’t—patient, focused, steady-handed. The kind of person who makes even the loud hum of the engine sound quiet.
It’s supposed to be professional. It isn’t.
One lesson becomes two, then three, and suddenly George isn’t sure which part scares him more—learning how to drive, or learning what it means to let someone in.Or, George signs up for driving lessons but his instructor is hot so he pays more attention to him than the road.

George’s eyes momentarily flew shut as he felt bright lights streaming down at him, and it was only when they somewhat adjusted again that they saw a familiar sight before him. The Paris Opera fully booked out. But that couldn’t be, the performance had just ended, why was there a new audience, and new dancers here already?
“Ladies and Gentlemen," a sudden voice announces. It felt like it was all around him as George felt himself flinching, the stares he received not going unnoticed. “It is a pleasure to introduce the Paris Opera Ballet student company and budding class of 2025.”
George felt his blood run cold. “2025?” He said in shock, more to himself than anyone else. They couldn’t possibly mean the year.
It was 1805. 2025 was still over two hundred years away.
or George is a prince from 1805 studying ballet in the Paris Opera, who suddenly finds himself 220 years in the future. He feels strangley interested in this new life and a cute blond

George is severely tempted to reach over and smack that shit off his face.
George is ready to argue further before Sapnap pipes in for damage control. “We’re so sorry, we can keep the noise down.” He offers earnestly.
or George has really annoying neighbors; they work on their cars early in the morning and keep him awake with the racket. George really wishes they'd shut the fuck up for once.
