Extremely well-written and well-paced story of what I thought should've been the main theme of MHA as a whole. Instead of following Midoriya, we follow Hawks as he comes to grips with his true purpose in hero society and how the commission operates within the public and private sections of peoples lives. Hawks is young and never had the freedom to really explore who or what he is without the commission. This story gives us a alternative to cannon where they go into the corruption and how your upcoming can forever define you in your own mind.
This is the type of work I was expecting with cannon and never got which led me to avoiding MHA. It doesn't just focus on Hawks and rely on him as a character, every character has a purpose and exists outside of him, they push their own stories forward even without him there. If you're looking for a world to get immersed in- this fic has it. You don't even need to read/watch MHA to enjoy it- I know I didn't and this is still one of the best works I've read. -

This is the story where Tobirama is made Clan Head, fucks shit up. We find out more about what goes on between the clans during the Warring Clan Era, shit still gets fucked up. Power dynamics change, history as you know it will be erased, and you got another thing coming if you think that Senju-fucking-Tobirama will stand back now that he's given center stage.
It all goes F.U.B.A.R. from here on out.

While I tend to personally avoid romance in stories, this story actually manages to not make that the focus. It's whole concept is so intriguing in a more logistical way. We get to see a rewritten version of Tobirama that gives him far more purpose and character than cannon. After stepping in for his brother for the winter, we watch as the usually silent and distant character gets to use his actual prowess and see him get used to being in those shoes of power. This later will cause conflict as he grows used to stepping on others toes for a better end. We learn the difference of opinion in which certain people see the world of Ninjas and how they should react. A rather Positive vs Nihilist look in the old world of Naruto.
If you like slow-building conflict/romance you will enjoy this story. You will find yourself at both parts frustrated but understanding of each character and their beliefs whilst reading from a very bias standpoint. If you like analyzing, this is for you! -

Really redefines Draco's character to be more dimensional to his cannon part. I love Harry Potter and tend not to like his character but this fic really changed that for me. It really demonstrates his age and how a character in his position would react more accurately than cannon. You get to learn more of the Slytherin dilemma and how it could've affected those more personally tied in the war as well as handling nuances such a public perception and social masking.
This is a brilliant work that expands on all matters of the "dark" side of the Harry Potter universe while giving us a alternative look at what could've been in the series if the characters were more than what they were made to be. Very outstanding and it brings attention to characters that were otherwise forgotten or pushed to the side in cannon. Cannot recommend enough!
