Summary
Viktor’s body has been slowly failing him for years as his mind slowly decays. The meds helped him manage until they didn’t. He’s not ready to give up, but every doctor seems to think he should. All except for one, the one he hoped he would never have to go to. It goes better than expected, though he still struggles slightly. He could be better and he knows it. If only those doctors hadn’t denied him, a decision they’ll soon regret. There may just be some unexpected side effects along with a pesky intern who inserts himself in Viktor’s plans.

Suguru watched this happen with the vague detachment of the extremely overtired.
