Both, admittedly a bit more niche. Turns out, being champion isn’t just about proving you’re good at the former every few months and then indulge in the latter as much as possible. Instead, she now finds herself de facto dictator of a rapidly shifting region in the wake of the largest and most devastating war in Poke-Human history. Extremism bubbles on the fringes, seeping its way into the political centre; liberty, self-determination and the rights of human and Pokémon alike now battle with the League system that has existed for nearly one thousand years.

Summary
The time of the Phantom Thieves had come and gone. However, Akira Kurusu had made it; he had raised a family, and was content to retire into his golden years.

Akira (Leave me alone AAAAH) gets sent back in time. Cuz the two big baddies of the original persona series can sense an even biggerer baddy...
This is coming across as really catty, FUTURE ME DIS IS GOOD.
Some of the embeds are inconsistent and tbh I wonder to what extent 'music' is really necessary for tone. The writer already gets that across pretty well with the languages having to play a video which will hit at different points depending on one's reading speed is awkward AF.Other than tho, haru/Akira is top 3 frfr maybe top 4 it's already established a unique identity as not just being 'persona but no game' has established it's mysteries really well and I'm actually like.
Really good fic. Mucho reccomendo to all the zero people who are gonna see this

Sitting behind you
Ch94An hilarious tooth rooting fluffy fic of ren/mako (idk why tf it's called shumako but okay) author is a delight with a wicked sense of humour, the phantom thieves being silly together rather than in one off arcana interactions is something that was missing in the original games and this makes up for that in earnest.
9/10. Gon be the kind of fic we think of when we think of p5

Summary
21 years after the events of Persona 5 Royal, the Phantom Thieves have long been in retirement. Each member continued to follow their passions well into adulthood, some even starting families of their own.
However, even after the distorted desires of the public were stolen away from them many years ago, something new has started to spread from the depths of the human hearts into the lives of everyday people. The hearts that once wished to be chained down into submission, now fester with the intense desire for violence and hatred.
As Mei Niijima, the daughter of the Trickster, grapples with a heartbreaking loss in the family, she’s thrown into an unforgiving world of reflections. Once she faces her inner self through bloodshed, she awakens to the furious power of Persona. With that, she embarks on the Fool’s Journey of self-discovery, and tries to seek atonement.
But the human heart, while it has the potential to be infallible, it may not always be able to overcome the most powerful of instincts.
Disclaimer: This is a work-in-progress story, but I have the rough idea for how it'll work out.
