With four contestants left, Total Drama Island is almost finished filming when all the former contestants are suddenly returned to the island. In the beginning, they suspect it's just another challenge, but Chris has other news.
The show is over. Something about a virus. He's clamming up about it, besides the fact that it's 100% fatal and highly contagious.
The crew is gone, but the cast is from all over the nation, and the government has ordered them to shelter on the island where they will receive letters from home and rations, all while kicking it Lord of the Flies style. Letters, that is, if they have somebody at home to send them--- And Courtney doesn't. What she DOES have is a complete 404 error in her brain and a sudden attachment to Duncan's hip.
How does a survival situation complicate young, dumb teen love? What happens when the letters and rations stop? Who will kill? Who will die? Who will love? Who will lose? Who will the Duncney haters in this fic attach to? Can I make Papa Bear Duncan fully believable while still making it clear he's 17?

It’s difficult being a single father, but Nick does as best he can at raising his little girl, Kim, in a house on his own. With how much he works, he’s often worried about her feeling lonely- but thankfully loneliness doesn’t seem to be much of a problem for her with how many imaginary friends she seems to have. Nick has overheard her reading stories with her teddy bear, giggling and laughing as she entertains herself with a board game, and playing pirate with the ship in a bottle. Most children probably wouldn’t be found trying to strike up a conversation with something like a vacuum, microwave, or the hangers in their closet- but Nick just figures that his daughter is on the more imaginative side.
