Summary
This story follows the end of the first movie, though I added an epilogue in honor of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
Orm Marius has been released on the surface, with conditions. The tracker embedded in his ankle and whatever Arthur said to his friend Batman are supposed to keep Orm in check. And they are... to an extent. Orm is biding his time until things in Atlantis change, because it is unthinkable that he will remain on the surface forever. There is no life for him here, no satisfaction... nothing to achieve or become.
When real estate agent Erin Shaw realizes she's alone with two escaped convicts, she's scared. And when her son shows up at just the wrong moment, she's terrified. Orm was in the mood for a fight anyway, and when she staggers out of the apartment with a bruise on her cheek, reminding him hauntingly of his mother, Orm steps in to help her and her son without asking questions.

Summary
Post-Movie: Arthur is struggling with his duties while Orm's loyalists are shy to show their support for their new king. In the meantime, Corum Rath and the Deluge, who want to cut the ties between Atlantis and the surface world forever, see this as an opportunity to attack Atlantis while their royal family are in shambles. Now Arthur doesn't only need to deal with the Deluge but he also needs to find a way to gain his brother's trust and team up with him against the upcoming danger.

Summary
Arthur isn’t really into the whole “king” thing. He saved the day, prevented global war, and got to kiss a pretty girl while underwater in magical fish armor. That’s a win, yeah? So why people keep pestering him about other crap is beyond him.
“Look, can we just like, party for a few days? Put a pin in all this King stuff? I think we deserve it, don’t you?”(Or, Arthur is King, Atlantis has batshit laws that need changing, and Orm gets a fresh look at what the surface world is like.)
