As she watches her childhood friend step away from her, she feels herself take a step back to look at her home. Syrup Village, the most populated town in the Gecko Islands. She thinks of her own home, filled with expensive things but has been empty, or at least felt empty for the past decade. She doesn't know if it was the death of her parents, or when Klahadore (no, it's Kuro, not Klahadore) came into the house, or when Usopp stopped coming around, but its just been boring, repetitive, and empty.
As she watches them prepare to pull out of port, she finally does something for herself. To fill that void of emptiness.
To turn to the sun.
