He’s a grunge band loser with a penchant for pranks, sarcasm, and ignoring authority, and somehow, Janis Ian convinced him that surviving here was possible… if he avoided the Plastics at all costs.
But fate (and poor decision-making) has a sense of humour. One stolen glance becomes a smirk, one sarcastic remark becomes a secret rivalry, and suddenly Rodrick finds himself embroiled in Burn Book entries, house parties, and the most dangerous game of all: keeping a queen bee off-balance without getting burned.
The line between hate and… something else is thinner than either of them expected.

Enter Regina George—former queen bee, and currently running a rebrand from “terrifying” to “tolerable.” She needs a public image refresh and a boyfriend who screams “I have layers.” While he needs tutoring, a parole officer for his homework, and someone who can bully him into passing senior year.
A deal is struck: fake dating for optics; makeover (for his report card) in exchange for a rebrand (for her soul… allegedly if she does have one that is).
