Law yanked the kid out from the back of the truck and thought about killing him right there. He was the boss of a notorious mafia family, he didn't have time for random weirdos to mess up his heists. Especially not when the little maniac kept asking to hold his gun.

Law never asked to be thrown into the world of drug trafficking at such a young age, but as a traumatized orphan threatened with homelessness in the unforgiving streets of New York, he had very little choice in the matter. Law is in the middle of counting stock in the back room when a heavy thud comes from the store floor. Must have forgotten to lock the entrance.
He walks around the cashier counter, only for his foot to catch on something, sending him careening down onto linoleum tiles face first. Law freezes as he turns over and sets eyes on the obstruction; a person slumped over with their head bowed, sitting against the counter with their hand grasping at their chest, pained noises escaping them with every other breath.
