   This is not obsession. It's not.

   Sure, Wendell was what Pete considered an aspiration, a scientific genius, a marvel even— but this level of fixation on him was totally normal.

   The man is missing. They have to find him; he's their only hope.

   So what if the more he learns about Wendell the more he relates to him? The more he becomes him? The more he spends every waking moment thinking about him— trying to solve the mystery?
