He stood, picking up his sword, he held it out in front of him as he turned to where he knew the upper rank was.Those six red and yellow eyes starred at him.
He maintained his composure despite having fear eat away at him.

He said, just loud enough to be heard.The upper moon tilted his head, looking at Giyu curiously.
“Why are you so obsessed with me?”
The Pillar said coldly.
The demon’s eyes widened and his face went a pale red.

"Do you love me?" Giyuu murmured, posture taught with anguish, "Or is this just a joke to you?" He pulled at the collar of Kokushibo's kimono, pulling his face down to meet his. Kokushibo peered into Giyuu's eyes, his heart stuttering in his chest.
Even in pain Giyuu looked like heaven to Kokushibo.
"Is this just your sick way of playing with your food?" Giyuu screamed, tears streaming down his his flushed cheeks. Kokushibo brushed away the crystalline tears, holding the man's cheek gently.
"No," he intoned, his voice a soft thing, tremulous and quivering with fear, "You are everything to me."

Arriving at a clearing in the middle of the forest, Giyu Tomioka stopped, his hand was on the katana, ready for battle and use at any moment. He looked at the moon again, then turned to the side where the demon was. The former Pillar was dressed in a blue yukata without his haori that he so often wore. Since it was already night, he was dressed in black khakami and dark blue budogi. These clothes were light and allowed him to move without much difficulty.
— There is no point in hiding anymore, uppermoon. We both know how this will end, so let's not delay. - Tomioka said as he pulled his katana out of its sheath and pointed it towards the demon who was still standing in the shadows.

“There is no need for your sword… Tomioka Giyuu…” Kokushibo puts up one hand, attempting to placate the ravenette, but the slayer still does not sheathe his blade. Though, he does like the way his name rolls off the tongue, “I’ve been looking for you…”
He can see the way Tomioka grips his blade tighter, brows furrowed, “Why… why?”
Kokushibo hears the confusion, the desperation. He wants to hear his voice again, without those feelings. He wants to hear Tomioka’s voice in all its glory, without being weighed down by sorrow.
—or, kokushibo finds giyuu in the forest and falls fast and hard
going through the process of being revised and rewritten, currently on hiatus.
