Summary
Vi looks at the big clock on the far wall. 7:46AM. She’s one minute late today. Every morning for the past six months - well, every morning Vi’s been on shift, so she’s just assuming about the other days - she’s passed by at exactly 7:45AM, always at a brisk walk, always in a perfectly-tailored suit, not a single long, silky-looking hair out of place.
7:47AM. The crisp clack of heeled boots on concrete pulls Vi out of her musings. There must have been some sort of emergency, because the subject of Vi’s (minor) obsession walks past the fire station at a faster clip than normal. Which is sort of saying something, because Mystery Woman’s got legs for days, long and slender, visibly toned with long, lean muscle through her suit pants. At the faster clip, Vi has less time to admire her ass and tiny, tiny waist as she walks by, but that’s fine, because the view as she leaves is fantastic.

Summary
After weeks of preparation, the Quen expedition was to be reunited at Landfall. What wasn't supposed to happen was Rheng staging a mutiny en route that saw Admiral Gerrit and Seyka killed in cold blood. Aloy's world is knocked off-centre at the news, and she's left to pick up the pieces. I have been thinking about what Aloy and the gang's life would be like when there was no impending doom amongst them. So I decided to create this fluffy, cute, romantic, all the damn feels in the world with sprinkles of darkness, THING.
EDIT: Originally, this was supposed to be about Aloy and friends, and it will be, but I've decided to stick with having it be mostly about Beta and Aloy, ( I will be throwing in huge Seyka moments of course ) but I really enjoyed building the sister bond, and Beta is my favorite cinnamon roll.
