Summary
Despite his tough guy looks that Dean wanted to give himself for a reason that escaped him, Sam knew that his brother had a weakness, especially for the rare days when their daily life turned out to be calm and domestic. While he was ruthless with the monsters who gave them a hard time, Dean was also the most inclined to make hot chocolates in front of a wood fire while watching a nice movie. Fortunately for him, the opportunity had almost presented itself when Castiel came to live with them. Definitely, of course.

Malgré ses allures de dur à cuir que Dean voulait absolument se donner pour une raison qui lui échappait, Sam savait que son frère avait surtout un faible pour les rares jours où leur quotidien s’avérait calme et domestique. Tandis qu’il était sans pitié avec les monstres qui leur menait la vie dure, Dean était également le plus enclin à se faire des chocolats chauds au coin d’un feu de bois tout en regardant un bon film. Heureusement pour lui, l’occasion s’était presque présentée d’elle-même lorsque Castiel était venu vivre avec eux. Définitivement bien sûr.

Anyone who had ever had the opportunity to share a meal with the Winchester brothers knew that they had undeniably simple tastes. As sons of hunters and hunters themselves, of course, they had grown up and lived most of their lives on the roads, leaving very few opportunities for relaxation or even cooking. They would stay a few days, complete the case, save lives, then drive across the country and start all over again. However, in the many motel rooms they had crossed until then, Dean had nevertheless learned to handle things in a kitchen.

Tous ceux qui avaient déjà eu l’occasion de partager un repas avec les frères Winchester savaient qu’ils avaient indéniablement des goûts simples. En tant que fils de chasseur et chasseurs eux-mêmes, bien sûr, ils avaient grandi et vécu la majeure partie de leur vie sur les routes ce qui laissait très peu d’occasions pour la détente ou même la cuisine. Ils restaient quelques jours, bouclaient l’enquête, sauvaient des vies puis sautaient l’autre bout du pays pour tout recommencer. Cependant, dans les nombreuses chambres de motels qu’ils avaient arpentées jusque-là, Dean avait quand bien même appris à se débrouiller dans une cuisine.

Some of them were literally no longer alive. Half the population was now wandering the streets animated by an insatiable thirst for blood. The other half killed each other or desperately hoped to put themselves through it, but everyone knew it was a crazy hope.
