Hunter chanced one more look at the busy Daro sky. The Havoc Marauder was fading from view, and with it, the four familiar heartbeats that slipped through his senses the same way he’d fallen to the planet’s forested surface.
Tech was obeying Hunter’s order to leave. He could still hear some of the chaos on the comms within his helmet, most notably Omega’s worried shouting and desperate pleading, but he’d already said his piece.
Plan 99 was what this was, even if none of them had the faith to say it, and it was the only viable option from Hunter’s perspective.
Hunter's capture is more than just a way for Crosshair to set a trap for the rest of their squad, and the sergeant proves just how far he's willing to go to keep his family, including their wayward brother, safe.

That day at the apartment, the moment everything went wrong. That was when they got themselves out of trying it again. How many did they hurt? None of them died, but what happened to others? They couldn't tell.
Powder could not shake the feeling of guilt about of her. If only her didn't try meddling with things, no one would have gotten hurt. How could she look at Ekko's eyes and tell she risked his friends' lives? That she hurt so many?
Ekko felt ashamed. He told them about it. If only he hadn't opened his mouth, that tragedy would not have happened. How could he talk to Powder again? After risking her and her siblings' lives? That, he could not do.
And their relationship became strained, distant, until there was barely none. Up to the moment they met again.

AU where Ekko and Powder met again after joining the Academy, many years since the incident, in a different Zaun and Piltover, changed by other things that happened during their time apart.

Slowly, so slowly, Jinx's breathing peters out, her sobs turning into quiet gasps and strangled breaths, and then she's staring up at Vi with dull eyes– no longer tortured by whatever visions she was having, but empty all the same. "Vi?" she rasps. "Are we dead?"
"Not yet," Vi promises, and she carefully rearranges them, half-drags her sister over to the wall so that she can lean across a hard surface, her sister's head in her lap. The burns marring her sister's face make her a sorrowful sight, but Vi pays it no mind, dragging fingers through Jinx's hair instead. "I don't know where we are."
Jinx sniffs, but she doesn't pull away from where she's now tucked into Vi's lap. "Guess that's a… good thing," she says, her voice still hoarse.

Isha wanted to protect Jinx, to follow in her footsteps and be the big, fat hero. Instead of dying in the explosion, like she expected to, she wakes up in an unfamiliar Zaun. Isha is determined to find Jinx, after-all, as long as they have each other they’ll be ok, right?
Meanwhile, Jinx is forced to grapple with her grief over Isha and is trying to navigate her new relationship with Ekko and piece her sisterhood with Vi back together.
