Summary
Daniel briefly leaves Alice alone in the restaurant for a smoke, but becomes preoccupied with an unexpected visitor in the alley.
Daniel slightly cocked his head to the side, trying to understand everything before him. He opened his mouth to speak again, but his tongue went limp and the cigarette dropped to the ground at his feet. A numbness started deep within his muscle, glittering up to the roof of his mouth and down his throat like falling stars.
A confused thrill started to effloresce behind his lungs, quickening his mortal heartbeat and clouding his mind. Understanding that Armand didn’t want to talk, Daniel reached for his waist instead, longing for his touch once again. Even if he couldn’t feel it when they kissed, he needed him as close as he could get.
He wanted to crawl inside of his skin and bathe in his blood.
