Summary
Takara Tsukuda has been chosen to attend Hope's Peak Academy as the Super High School Level Journalist, and she couldn't be happier about it. Only the most talented youth were accepted after all. But things don't turn out as planned when she and fifteen other students fall unconscious and find themselves in some strange resort. They are told that the school has sent them all on a special vacation, and despite a few oddities it seems that's all this is. But then a black and white bear shows up and tells them that they're not allowed to leave. Now they're all stuck in a game of this bear's own design: either live in peace in this resort for the rest of their lives, or murder a fellow classmate and fool everyone else to escape. When she doesn't know who could be tempted to kill, Takara has to figure out the truth about why they were forced into this game, or die trying.

“Would you still like me if I was a worm?”
The query snapped Ruan Mei out of her daze, her gaze torn from her fingers that whisper across the strings of her ruan, strumming the murmurs of melodies that linger from the fickle childhood memories she’s willing to recall to the other woman. “Pardon?”
“Would you,” said Stelle, a grin sprouting between her repeated enunciation, “still like me if I was a worm?”
And then, so brazenly earnest it knocked the breath out of Stelle’s lungs that heaved with the weight of laughter bottled in from her prior words, Ruan Mei offered, “Would you like me to turn you into one to test that?”
Or, Stelle ends up finding company in Ruan Mei again aboard Herta Space Station and learns a little about worms along the way (and feelings).

Summary
HtHaN is a collection of scenes scattered across a timeline from Maki's first year in high school to her adult life with Nico. Most scenes are written in a one-shot or short subset format insofar as most of the information needed to understand them is contained within. Thus, there is redundant exposition across chapters. It is assumed the reader has seen the LL anime, but references to other parts of the franchise are usually highlighted in the notes.
Scenes will not be posted in chronological order, rather in the order that I write them; as ideas come to me. Thus, chapter order will be shuffled regularly.
The numbered scenes are set in the “future” and are full of flashbacks as Nico and Maki reminisce about events gone by. The named scenes are set in the “past” and are often the remembered events in more detail.
Tags will be added as needed.
Overall rating is T, but many individual scenes may only be G. The Incident is a bit darker and has warnings in its summary and notes. Reader Discretion Advised for that scene.Most recent scene posted: All My Sanity's Gone (ch 87)

Summary
