Leo’s in a bit of a pickle.
His best friend Jason just lied to his old comrades that he and Leo are dating. Instead of telling the truth like any normal (albeit slightly boring) person would, Leo comes up with the brilliant idea of acting like they really are together. They only have to spend, what? Three days? Three days in New Rome to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Giant War ending. They could totally keep up the act for that long.
Only, he starts to realize it may not be as much of an act as he thought it was.

“I’m a son of Hades, remember?” Nico said, his eyebrows furrowing like he was hesitating with his next words, and then barreling on. “I can sense when someone is dying,” he stated, lifting his hands and jerking them in a way that encompassed all of Leo.
And, what? That clarified absolutely nothing. Leo had already died, gone up in a fiery explosion along with his entire reason for existence. And then the Physician’s Cure had brought him back to life, somehow making his death even more meaningless.
“Not just physically,” Nico tacked on. “Mentally, too.”
Leo’s eyes widened, and he scrambled to his feet, breath hitching as the quick movement caused a flash of pain in his arm. He stumbled back, putting a good ten feet of distance between the two of them, his mind racing.
Nope. Absolutely not. He was not having some mental health intervention with the literal Prince-of-Death-and-all-Things-Emo.

Todoroki really is the prettiest boy in class-- up close like this, Kaminari's constant prattling on attractiveness a strong influence in the back of his head, it's hard not to see. More than just the altogether aesthetically pleasing features-- even including the scar, which is its own strange sort of beauty mark-- there's kind of an unearthliness to his quiet, solemnity and restraint in the stillness of a teenage boy that's otherworldly, like one of the paintings that'd be on display. The one with the fox in front of the moon, an elegant silhouette clear against a dark shroud of fog and mist.
"Is something wrong?" Todoroki asks, and Hanta flushes with the realization he'd been spending the last minute contemplating Todoroki's face.
"Your eye is just-- it's really blue," Hanta sputters out, looking away as he combs his hand through his hair.
Sero and Todoroki run into each other at a museum and realize they both really like traditional art, so it becomes something of a regular thing.Dates, to Todoroki.
It takes Hanta a while longer to catch up on that part.
