It is rather distracting, Odile has noticed, to have someone leaning against your shoulder while you’re trying to read. Especially if said someone is no one other than Siffrin.
Granted, she probably could have moved him - and likely should have, preferably before he’d fallen asleep - but now it was too late. She couldn’t move him now. He was like a cat in that regard; much like one shouldn’t disturb a sleeping cat, they shouldn’t disturb a sleeping Siffrin, either. So she was stuck like this.
Not that it’s particularly bad or anything. Siffrin is a warm presence against her side, their soft breaths puffing against her neck as he slept. Even now, nearly a year after they defeated the King, he was still occasionally plagued by bouts of tiredness. The effects of craft exhaustion still lingered.

Mettaton sat at his desk, tongue carefully poking out between his lips and brows furrowed as he wrote.
Distantly, he was aware of his body telling him it needed to charge but he ignored it. He was so close to finishing the latest script, he didn’t have time to plug himself in. Sure, he was tired, but he also knew he’d fall asleep not long after plugging himself in, so he wanted to get this finished first. It was taking a bit longer than he’d thought, but he was so close that surely it wouldn’t take much longer.

Sure, they have an attractive, athletic, incredibly strong, tomboy-ish dragon gamer girlfriend who's actually incredibly kind and charismatic and has a radiant smile and a cute, dorky side, and is also literally God's favorite. Sure, Asriel totally believes that. And somehow, despite this woman apparently being the embodiment of everything good and hopeful about this world, Kris is apparently too ashamed to tell him anything about her.

Kris is far too secretive about their girlfriend, and Asriel, all too curious, decides to do his own research. Who is this mythical 'girlfriend', and why does Mom like her so much? Is Kris just pranking him?
He gets into a lot of misunderstandings along the way.
