Liam, the serious-looking Agent 3 of the Squidbeak Splatoon with lots of uncovered secrets, had recently received a new mission from Captain Cuttlefish to take care of an Octoling, Noel the Agent 8, in order to help him adapt the new life on the ground. Liam might seem like a serious squid, but he acted like that only in order to cover his dirty mind. With Noel becoming Liam’s new roommate, what should Liam do in order to stop his dirty mind from thinking about doing naughty stuff to the Octoling?

“Folks... We’ve just gotten several reports of Inkopolis citizens going missing. Those who have disappeared have left no signs of their current status, or the circumstances leading up to their disappearance. At this time, the city of Inkopolis will be implementing lockdown procedure eight-fifteen. Please refrain from leaving past city lines until the all-clear is given.”
It's been five months since Agent 4 rescued the Great Zapfish from the Octarians. Now, just as people around Inkopolis begin to vanish with no apparent explanation, they've been called back into the fray by Marie. Join as they deal with new recruits and new problems to face. (And, not to mention, the peculiar strangers popping up around town...)

Summary
Playing a video game, consumers tend to forget about the characters and their capabilities. The inklings in Splatoon are only around 14 years old- the octolings maybe even younger, since they're grown in tubes from severed tentacles. Inklings are lucky, being able to run and laugh and play without a care in the world since they're young. Octolings...not as much.
Agent 8 doesn't know how old he is, where he came from, nor who even created him. All he knows is that he has to get to the promised land to experience that beautiful song he heard at some point. To do this, he has to pass some 'tests'. They measure his capabilities both mentally and physically, exhausting him to the fullest.
This wouldn't be a problem for say, an adult with a good mental stability. But being a kid who's already stressed out from his amnesia and being in an unknown area that's dark and cold can really take a toll on you.

TLDR: This is a story about the times Agent 8 cries during his journey up to the surface. He's stressed, stressed, and more stressed. This is a self indulgent story.Bookmarked by Splat_Agent_Ink
