“You don’t have to do this,” Brock says quietly, speaking it to the rough carpet in front of him instead of looking up at Jack. It doesn't matter how many times they do this; he always worries that he'll see distaste in Jack’s eyes, or even worse, disgust.
“I know I don’t have to,” comes Jack’s soft reply from above him. It’s the same thing he says every time Brock asks. “I want to, okay?”
He’s lying though, and they both know it. No matter what he says, Jack has never wanted to do this.

From the prompt: STRIKE and the Asset are camped out in the middle of nowhere (Siberia, Alaska, somewhere woodsy and remote) for a mission and have some time to spare, so they decide to go hunting.
Except that they're not hunting deer. Their prey is the Asset itself, with its arm removed, stripped naked, maybe fed sedatives so that it doesn't have too much of an advantage. They give it a bit of a headstart and then hunt it through the woods.
(It doesn’t quite go as they expect)
