The President's life is in jeopardy and it's only a matter of time until it's too late. Can Bill save her? Will they give in to what they really mean to each other as everything descends into chaos?
I started this a long time ago. After a COVID rewatch I am determined to finish.

A look at the Father/Daughter relationship between Mary and Carson. This is AU- as if the scene where they reconcile in S4Ep1 doesn't happen. This is filled with angst. Also a bit of Robert/Cora in there for good measure.

Summary
When Galactica is about to be decommissioned its commander, William Adama, and the secretary of education, Laura Roslin, meet for the first time. Sparks fly but not in a good way.
Back on Caprica, Adama has to find out what to do with retirement, while Roslin has to fight against her advanced cancer, as well as fight for her job. Her former lover, the president of the colonies, has set his mind to boot her out of office.
